80 pints - or about 360,000 individual berries, by Runfolo’s math - were waiting to be delivered to Carlo’s Bake Shop in Hoboken, Hudson County. Carlo’s is famous as the bakery that hosts the cable-TV hit “Cake Boss,” and it will be known at this festival as the bakery creating the “four-tiered, blueberry masterpiece” of a cake that will be sliced and sold to benefit the FACES Autism Support Network.

Yes they do! It is still a huge event.

I’m beginning to think I am a farm / garden nerd ;)

I have a friend who is a biologist with Rutgers extension and she hooks me up with blueberries every summer.
I have never heard of bog tours and having grown up on Cape Cod and seeing bogs all over, I was surprised to see how hidden they seem to be in our area…but in the Chatsworth ( piney ) area, they seem pretty massive and secretive.
@ garland, I love the fact that here , our littl ameteur gardens can produce so late into the fall…and I just got an awesome tip from an old salt Vineland farmer that told me how to keep my tomatoes going until Thanksgiving…
And I am so happy that Foodnetwork has highlighted out county in a few shows :D
