If you could be an Olymic athlete--what sport would you choose?

As the title says…

I am not athletically inclined…
however I would choose the biatholon first, and curling second ;o)

Alpine skiing (winter); tennis (summer.)

okay
and for summer–I am choosing croquet!

my daughter loves the luge and snowboarding, but me- I don’t like speed so much or the thought of falling down, so I will stick with cross country skiing, I fall down enough doing that!

Ooh this is hard!

For winter I’d love to do Ski Aerials or Bobsled. For summer I’d love archery or trampoline gymnastics.

Swimming…

Curling for winter Olympic.
This is the only one that won’t involve crashing, falling, … My bones is NOT young enough to sustain impacts :)

^ I would not rule out some shoulder injury though.

^ Then I would only broom the ice, not throw that stone. LOL.

I’m assuming then that I’d be an entirely different person, as I’m utterly unathletic…but I’ll play. I’ve always thought that speed skating (regular, not short track) seemed like a lot of fun. I’ve also always thought that pole vaulting looked fun. Oh yes, and ski jumping.

I’ve always been talented at apres-ski events

Gymnastics (but not the balance beam!)

I am ALL about the apres events too

shaken or stirred

lol

Speed skating and alpine skiing. Bonnie and Picabo are my heroes. :)

Eating… definitely the eating contest. :p

Ice dancing if you promise I don’t have to wear a dopey costume. I don’t like falling, but I’d love to look graceful on the ice.

Summer? Swimming is the only one I’ve done much of, but I’ve always found it pretty boring. Gymnastics just seems to take childhoods away. Maybe sprinting? Archery sounds about my speed though.

Well since once upon a time I was eligible to try out for the Equestrian team … I would have to choose that. And since I am wishing, I want to be 18 again with an Olympic caliber mount! Which discipline? Probably 3-Day, but maybe Show Jumping.

Equestrian team. At this point, dressage, since some competitors in dressage are… like me… old.

If I could be an Olympic calibre athlete, I assume I am also gifted enough that the falls and injuries are far less likely than they would be to the real me- so I will take that flipping twisting aerial skiiing and Equestrian 3 day eventing which allows me to have a blast in my event and still be better than average in all facets of it

Ski jump; in the summer, hurdles
