<p>Hi, i’ve been a lurker here for quite some time and decided to finally post. My question for everyone is:</p>
<p>If you could go to any school and money wouldn’t be a problem, what school would it be and why?</p>
<p>Personally, I would choose a school in London, because I am so fond of London theatre. I would want to find a school that had connections with the professional theatre community of London. Also, Britain has a much stronger theatre tradition (as distinct from film and television) and I would have an easier time finding people who are as interested in theatre as I am. And folks wouldn’t think I was strange for being interested in theatre and seeking a career in that area.</p>
<p>Schools on my short list might include RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall, and Central. But I already have a B.A. in theatre, so of these four RADA I think is the only one that offers an MFA in Directing. Having any of these four on my resume would look quite impressive, even if I ended up moving back to the U.S.</p>
<p>But this may just be a pipe dream.</p>
