<p>I am in a schedule dilemma right now and I just want to see what other people think about the course offerings above.</p>
<p>No selection for me: Java programming of course. But I have very broad experience in programming in different languages so you might want to not consider my opinion.</p>

<p>Yes, you can take Java Programming and Statistics.</p>
<p>Go with the most entertaining class with the best teacher. If you’re lucky, you can play computer games/video games in Java Programming. Mmm… Wasting school network resources.

<p>If you don’t enjoy any of these classes thoroughly, switch out. Taking a crappy (or even mediocre) elective is a horrible mistake. Do these help fill graduation requirements?</p>
<p>Personally, I do find computer programming boring though. But that’s just me. And AP Envi Sci does give college credit, hopefully.</p>
<p>Stat and then study AP stat</p>
<p>These are just “extra” classes that I need to fill in my schedule. I’m just debating on which one I should take. I can complete my graduation requirements without these courses, but because I cannot have more than one free period per semester (the only exception to this is if I am taking a CC class or online class), I must choose one of the above. APES is already in my schedule, but I have until the end of August to change that.</p>

<p>The java is a skill you can use later in life to make some money, even if you don’t study it in college.</p>
<p>AP Enviro is kind of a useless class.</p>
<p>AP Statistics might be good, but java is more useful and (IMO) just as impressive.</p>

<p>study halls look really bad on college apps and APs ALWAYS look better no matter what anyone tells you</p>
<p>programming is nice but only if it’s an AP comp sci, same goes for stats, it should be AP Stats</p>

<p>seems like the only useful course (to me) as in i’m not interested in becoming a computer programmer/anything computer-related or a tree-hugger 
(lolol jking. but yeah, i dropped ap env sci next year too)</p>

btw, study halls do not “look really bad” on college apps. we’re human, not robots. you can’t expect someone to take a bajillion APs and never have time to complete work in school or even take a break during the day from them. i know of a girl who never had a study hall until senior year – where she took THREE (basically 3/8th of her whole year) and she still got into yale. i actually dislike study halls though, because i can never get any work done at school (b/c i feel like napping. lol.)</p>
