If you plan on doing an extra-curricular activity during your senior year....

Do you check the box even if it hasn’t happened yet? Like I know I’m going to do Track (unless my leg falls off or something), but it obviously doesn’t start until March.

Probably a dumb question, but I don’t want anything out of the ordinary (besides it being amazing) about my application.

Bump

Bump for a good question.

What does “bump” mean?

Yes, you include it.

^I see. I don’t really understand the logic behind this though. A person could then technically include any activity that he or she plans to do.

Isn’t it a better idea to write in the info box that I plan to continue in 12th grade?

@dignified1 “Bump” is when someone posts on a thread to keep in on the first page so that more people will see it, making it more likely to be answered.

This is something I’ve been wondering about too. Thank you for asking it, AliBubble. :D

Bump. I would like to know as well :)

lol that’s what i figured. I always thought it meant “lame post”

BUMP literally stands for “bring up my post.”

Backronym!

We need less bumps and more answers lol :)

Well. . . not an answer, just an educated guess. With your track example, if you’ve done it all through high school you can go ahead and claim it for your senior year. If you’re putting a new EC that you’ve never participated in before that occurs later in senior year, I think it’ll need some 'splainin.
