IIMUN - Indian International Model United Nations

Is anyone else attending the IIMUN which is talking place in Bombay?

Better go to HMUN India around the same time in Hyderabad. It is a brilliant experience. The FOOD is GODLY. You get to meet Harvard Juniors/Seniors and get some helpful tips on applying!! Haha!! :D

Heard of IIMUN - It’s good too but how good, I don’t know!

The application portal for HMUN isn’t live yet. Anyways. I will attend both. :D

Oh! Looks like their dates are going to Clash! Gaaawd! I’m in a confused state.
Which one I should go for?
Guide me Rishav. :)

Yeah, the dates clash!

I haven’t been to IIMUN and by the looks of it - it is not bad. But given HMUN & any MUN - I’d choose HMUN!! :D

It was brilliant last year.

Plus, if you’re looking to win and add something to your resume - I’d say HMUN is more prestigious than IIMUN.

choose HMUN, Ive been for HMUN CHina as AD, and it’s awesome!!!
Haven’t been able to go for HMUN India yet, but my friends have, and they said it was epic.

So, HMUN it is. :)

Who all is it open for? Can kids currently in 12th apply?

Yep. You can

You need to be 18 or under at the time of the conference!! :D

Well then I suppose it would be fine. Thanks people.

You should also look at Cathedral MUN conducted by the Cathedral and John Connon, Mumbai. It’s been, by far, the most amazing MUN I’ve attended in terms of delegate experience. It is held at the same time as the HMUN, and the competition level is the just the same at both places.

Anyone here from the Chennai MUN circuit?

Doesnt iimun have a new procedure??

Can I apply too??? I’ve never munned before…wanted to try it out…Im bored these days anyways and still 18 :D

^quiver
Google HMUN or IIMUN.
The registrations are still open. :)

Thanks…Though I don’t want to be a huge flop actually… :)

I believe IIMUN holds more prestige now. HMUN certificates have the International Relations Council logo, not Harvard University. IIMUN on the other hand has a UN body’s logo on their certificates. The Pune chapter had the Indian Federation of United Nations Association on board

I’ve always wanted to participate. Can anyone apply? Any selection procedures?
