THOUGHTS?
@Klayyy what sort of universities or programs are you referring to? There is not really a solid answer to your question.
the top ones, like wharton hysmp
1550/1600
I think what you’re asking is what score do I need to have?
The answer to that is: first figure out what colleges you want to apply to. I recommend looking at finances first, then GPA estimates. Use the Supermatch tool on the left of this screen to help narrow by gpa. Use College Navigator government site to get a ballpark estimate of what you will pay at X school by your income bracket. YMMV about what you pay because things get tricky pretty fast, but it will give you some idea.
Choose 3-4 schools that you can afford and your GPA is on target for.
Type into google the words “prep scholar” and name of your target school. Click on the link and that will tell you about your GPA and target SAT for that school. That will tell you what SAT is in the safe range.
There is really no such magical score. If your score is at the 75th percentile for SAT scores of an enrolled class, then you can generally assume that it is a safe score. Will a higher score not matter at all? It will matter little.
Previous SAT scores are reported as old SAT scores. Compass has their take on the estimated new SAT score ranges at a number of popular colleges. http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/college-profiles-new-sat/
