I'm a failure...I don't know what to do?

I graduated high school with a 3.8 unweighted (my school didn’t do weighted). I had a perfect GPA my first two years, and then it dropped a little due to AP classes and senioritis.
My ACT score was a 30.

I have taken an official IQ test with a psychologist a few years ago and scored a 135.

I don’t think I am stupid, and I know I’m not lazy…but I’ve dropped out of college twice already. I don’t know what to do with myself. Help?

What was your reason for dropping out of college? A loss of desire, loss of drive/enthusiasm for it, or what?

First, stop focusing on your IQ. Natural intelligence contributes to success on the margin, but character is much more important. The fact that you mentioned IQ leads me to think that you might have a superiority complex based on your perceived intelligence. Figure out what you want to do, understand that anything worthwhile takes hard work even if you are a 3.8 student, then strive to achieve your goal.

No superiority complex, I just want to know what’s wrong with me if I’m not stupid or lazy.

I mean, I’m screwed up in the head, but therapists and psychiatrists and mental hospitals have failed to fix me. And my problems have gotten worse over the years, so I’m a lot less functional now.

I know I have mental problems but since there is no help for them (trust me when I say this, there isn’t a thing I haven’t tried) I still want to be able to do school…I’m really motivated. I have big goals. My mind just doesn’t let me do anything. I wish I knew the answer.

If you’re mind “doesn’t let you do anything”, that sounds like a lack of motivation. Did you care about the things you tried going to school for? Was the material interesting to you? Did you feel like classes were boring/easy? Did you feel totally overwhelmed and stressed out? Figure out the problem. Even if it’s tied to some broken part of your mind, find those triggers. If you can pinpoint what causes problems, you can learn to avoid them.

I’m taking pre-physical therapy classes to get a DPT in the future, but my major is math with a minor in philosophy-my favorite subjects. I like the science classes I have to take for prerequisites too.

It’s mostly anxiety and stuff. I’m actually pretty motivated but I panic over everything and I have psychotic episodes and hallucinate. It’s just a struggle to live. I have tried too many methods of getting better. I don’t see a way out.
