I'm bored so... Ask a UCF student

Are you upset about the temporary closing of Chick-Fil-A? I sure as hell am. I mean, it was one of the reasons I chose the school! Who doesn’t want to eat some Chick-Fil-A while studying Organic Chem?! It’s madness man!! :D

How is the housing at UCF?

I was hoping to transfer up there sometime next year but i’ve been having a hard time finding some apartments in my budget. Anyone know a good website to check out the apartments up there?

I know the towers has cable, but does that mean that there is cable just in the living room area or is it in each bedroom as well?

Anyone who knows the answer feel free to respond!

Thx!

Cable in all rooms. :)

zebes

By the way, Chick-Fil-A has been reopened. Thanks for the opinions guys.

Thanks Zebes!

Does anyone know what would be a good size tv to have in a towers bedroom? I basically want the biggest I can without it being too ridiculous lol

There’s not a lot of space in the bedroom either so if anyone has any idea on where to put the tv that’d be great! (we’re not allowed to mount it to the wall, right?)

You get a bookshelf and an dresser which are almost the same size. Most people put it on there. It’s about 2-2.5 ft wide and about the same deep. So imagine the bigget TV you could put on there.

S put his dresser in the closet that way he had room for an actual tv stand, which he also put dvd’s, etc. on. Being a guy, he could have the dresser in the closet and still have plenty of hanging room for what he needed.

zebes

Hopefully someone can answer this:

I will be starting UCF in the Spring as a Freshman. Is there any way to register for classes before Orientation? Freshmen Orientation isn’t until a few days before classes start. I’m afraid all the good classes will be filled up and i’ll have to take classes I have no need for. Any advice? Do they save some of the classes for spring freshmen by any chance?

Collegechick, I don’t think you can register for classes before the set date that they give you. Just put the classes in your shopping cart first so when you register, you can just enroll and don’t have to search for classes. Science classes usually fill up really quick, so get those first.

Good luck!

In order to become a peditrician should i first be a nurse?

Every UCF student I see has a UCF keychain around their next. Is that free?

I don’t think so, because I don’t have one. You actually buy that at the bookstore I think.

There’s always always free food around campus though :D

I would rather have food then a key chain!

Do you think that I can get into UCF.

Kervin, there will always be events around campus. Even if you’re not into them, just go and get free food >.> Like there was this one pre-med event that was giving out pizza… some people just came to get pizza and left lmao.

Food costs a lot in college!

I heard it was there always something going on. Thats cool. Oh btw if I’m taking pre-med courses will I really have to study and work 24/7? I’m fine with studying a lot, but I need to relax a bit!

Dude… no, lol. At least not the first year cause you’ll be taking gen ed classes with a bunch of other people with diff majors too. But then again, it really depends on how you study and the pace you go. Different people study at different paces and in different ways. College is all about time management. Use your time wisely, don’t skip classes and you’ll do well.

Alright thanks.

Is it safe to take a class from 7:30-10:20 pm? I don’t mind the hours, I just mind my safety when walking back and forth from the class to Nike. Just wondering how safe it is on campus at night since it’s an open campus and anyone can come in and out on their own will… Gah, getting paranoid now.

Asking any UCF students, btw.
