<p>Who else has snow?</p>
<p>We had an inch or so last weeked, 6-12 inches mid week and it is going again, very light and powdery, fun to walk in.</p>
<p>I am loving it, but then I work from a home office :D</p>
<p>I can see snow in the mountains from my deck (while I’m wearing my shorts, T-shirt, and flip-flops - as usual). I count that as a white Christmas around here.</p>

<p>You can have mine. We have 6 plus inches on the ground from Friday, and another 2-4 today. It’s snowing now, but it’s supposed to go over to sleet, then rain. And the temperature will drop drastically overnight, so what’s left will be sheets of ice.</p>
<p>It will all be gone by Christmas, or at best a brown/black mess.</p>

<p>jeez, I just walked the dog with no shoes on! I would love some snow, unfortunately I don’t think that we will get any, however, we are going from 70 degrees, down to about 21 toinght. Somebody remind me to put the antifreeze in my car, it needs it!</p>

<p>CBBBlinker, on the coast in Fairfield County, below the Merritt, which tends to equate to the rain/snow changeover line in most storms.</p>
<p>Right – my old stomping ground, until we moved to the Hartford area 2+ years ago. Now we just wallow in snow, snow, snow!</p>
<p>When I went out at 7:30 it was sleeting, now there are fat snowflakes coming down. Slippery roads for sure.</p>

<p>For those of us in non-mall independent retail this weather is a little worrisome. My sales could be badly hurt by this weather. So far, I am even with last year, but it’s snowing yet again and we need the final four days to be strong.</p>
<p>We have about 15 inches of the white stuff in Toronto. It looks like it’s going to be another record year for snowfall if December is any indication. Last winter was the worst ever in Toronto, and we’re not off to a good start for this winter. I’m not a fan.</p>
<p>Another Connecticut resident here . . . Litchfield Hills. It snowed yesterday (a lot), it’s snowing now, and it’s supposed to become very cold and windy. Truthfully, I don’t mind it and my little village – beautifully decorated for the holidays – looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting.</p>
<p>We already had snow on the ground before this past week. Then, on Friday, we got 8 inches (D1 drove home from school in that). Today, it is already showing and 15 inches are expected. Husband and D1 are skiing at the moment on the mountain. I’m worried that D2 who is to fly home from college this evening will not make it, let alone the drive we are doing to the airport (50 miles) this afternoon in these conditions. Other than travel, I am happy for the snow as D can ski for the week she is home and also it is good for our community for the upcoming tourist season (live in a ski resort town). But I am worried about our travels today. It is very pretty out with the trees laden with snow and the snow falling down.</p>
<p>It’s already gone over to rain here.</p>
<p>Well…another Litchfield County CT person here…it’s still snowing…HUGE flakes. We have about 10 inches from Friday, and my guess is that there is already about 5 inches from today. </p>
<p>Now they are saying there are supposed to be showers on Wednesday…at least that won’t delay my son’s air travel home!! But it will make the pretty snow look pretty sloppy.</p>
<p>No white Christmas in Southern California, but we get to travel to our second home in Northern Wisconsin where they have plenty of the white stuff and play…the best of both worlds!</p>
<p>More snow would have been an improvement over ice. First we had snow, then an ice storm Thurs. night into Fri. A lot of tree damage and power out. Then more snow as a nice topping for the ice. The temp. is currently -5 with wind chill of -30. Yeah, a Norman Rockwell postcard would have been plenty good for me.</p>
<p>Boston area - it started snowing 48 hours ago and hasn’t stopped. Well over a foot on the ground. Light, fluffy, fairy-tale stuff. DS is working at the snowy Patriots football game (taking tickets and ushering). Didn’t see him before he left this morning, but he’s a skier so I assume he dressed warmly enough!</p>
<p>Ohio person here. We have a few inches of snow on the ground and a nice layer of ice on top and covering all our driveways, roadways and sidewalks. Lovely. It’s freezing - 0 out right now and a wind chill of -20. Great.</p>
<p>I was just watching the Weather Channel with my husband and there was a woman walking through a green park wearing a pair of jeans and a light sweater. I was so envious I almost cried!!!</p>
<p>Winter is something I give myself permission to whine about. I have NEVER gotten the White Christmas thing. My Christmas wish is always that there is NO snow till after the first of the year…I lose this year!!!</p>
<p>I live in Central MA and have about 18 inches of white, fluffy snow–we’re used to snow in New England, but this storm comes on the heels of an ice storm that left us without power for a week. Ugh!! Some folks in southern NH are still without power.</p>
