I'm gonna fail the APUSH Test

I started doing some practice questions for the test and I’m only getting 1 or 2 right out of 10!? Why am I doing so bad? I have an AP test prep book that I am reading so should that help if I read it all?

I ended up only getting a 26/55 on the multiple choice :frowning:

You’re doing fine, the AP test is heavily curved. That ratio of correct answers is good enough to get a 4 or a 5 depending on the essays. Use the AP pass score calculator to see what you need approximately for each score: http://appass.com/calculators/us

There r just idiots on the internet so ignore them. And on Apush, with that score (and maybe the same percentage for the writing) you should maybe get a 3 if the rest of the country has the average of about the same. APUSH is not that hard so dont worry and breath. You shouls be find  but i dont think you can get a 5 with that percentage… a 4 maybe… but not 5…

How have you been doing in class? Why are your grades such a surprise in May-- have you been scoring well on class tests and exams?

I usually don’t do well on the tests, I’m not sure why. Either D’s, C’s, or B’s. But this new exam is formatted differently so idk what to expect from it besides reading long passages and answering questions that don’t seem relevant to the topic at all.

I’m doing okay (maybe 60%?) on the MC, and the short answers seem fine, but I’m terrified of the Long Essay and DBQ!
