Ya I was collecting money for our change for change campaign so we can send money to African kids, and there is this group of guys who take me and the campaign not serious at all. Some of my friends in the group donate me some change because they are my friends, but the other don’t like me at all even though I haven’t ever talked to them in my life. So I’m asking for change and my friend went to his bag to look for change in his bag. The others try to “be funny” and saying inappropriate jokes (which I didn’t find offense at all because I’m more mature to actually take that kid seriously). What really ****d me off is when they start poking me with the lax stick! I swear i was about to slam that lax stick right in their faces, but there was an assistant principal there and I didn’t feel like getting suspended. Like I’m not offended by them, but they’re the most immature people I know. I don’t make an reaction because I usually try and make my anger dissapear when I’m angry. AHH I swear I 'm gonna hit them!

You’ll find people like this everywhere. Just learn to cope/ignore them.

I /can’t stand/ those people. I’m all for being obnoxious…but not at the expense of others or good causes. Seriously. People will tell you that once you get out of HS you see less of this, but the truth is that’s a total lie ;). Even adults find ways to be ridiculously obnoxious and inappropriate. But whatever; that’s life. Mostly, I just feel really embarassed for these people…especially if they’re over 18…haha.

But, I have met a few people in my day who are /too/ uptight. Just because a kid is poking you with his LAX stick doesn’t mean he’s an *******. Yes, he probably is, but always give them the benefit of the doubt: joke around with people and loosen up for a change. Two sides to every coin.

Don’t hit them. I find outsmarting them much better. Whenever I encounter people like that, I find a way to insult them so that they only realize I insulted a few minutes later.

If worse comes to worse, don’t waste your energy slapping them upside the head. Be a bit more passive about it.

the title of this thread explains my 18-year-old brother perfectly
