Request a pdf copy of your grade from IVS and then send it to admissions@imsa.edu
gosh, may seems so far away
it’ll probably be here before we know it though
guysss my January SAT results are finally in. I got a 660 math and 600 CR. I’m in eighth grade like i mentioned before- do you think I have a chance at IMSA?
@yka101 dude. chill. We’ve already submitted. You have a pretty decent SAT score. At the least- you’ll be called in for an 8th grade interview if you don’t make it in. Literally garunteeing you a spot in 9th grade if you maintain your grades and bring that SAT score up a bit more.
@yka101 Good job definitely a better a reading score is better than mine. I wish I did better in that respect, but the other parts of my application should make up for it. Hopefully, they understand that my skill in English doesn’t affect my passion for math and science.
@yka101 I am an 8th grader to, my sats are a tad bit higher. But otherwise I think we’re the same. At least, we have next year. It would be awesome to get in. Where are you from?
thanks! @priyaluvsbooks @theeedog @YoloSwagMaster
@theeedog I think it’s okay if your CR was a bit worse since they look mostly at math SAT scores. And yeah, your application should definitely make up for it. Unfortunately, I feel like my essays weren’t so great compared to other IMSA applicants. But then again, we don’t reeaalllyyyy know what the everage application looks like.
@YoloSwagMaster Thanks the gods for next year! I’m from the Chicago suburbs, in Mundelein. You?
@yka101 although many of us assume that math scores are more relevent, thts not the case. at the meeting they said that math and CR scores r given = importance.
I am from Lemont its also a suburb of Chicago about 20 mins away. What is your ethnicity, I’m Indian. @yka101
ohhh @priyaluvsbooks but they don’t look at the writing SAT right?
@YoloSwagMaster Same, I’m Indian too. :-bd
Nope just math and CR @yka101
@yka101 nice, Indian power :-h @priyaluvsbooks do they have access to the writing scores?
@YoloSwagMaster Nope, no writing scores (thank god). And hey, I’m Indian too! Well, half Indian.
Wow, I think we are all Indians. Interesting…
I don’t know if it’s good or bad we are all Indians @aminorspark
No, they have access to writing scores. Those come into play when they are placing you into English classes.
@kidfood it is kind weird that we’re all indian… isn’t it?
