@swaggy333 wow those are some amazing credentials!! How do you think you did on your essays?
i think they were okay but i’m still really nervous!
thanks though for all the kind words. i hope we all see each other next year at imsa as sophomores
heard from a sibling who talked to people on the admissions committee that decisions have all been made, they’re just printing out things and getting the system ready! i hope these letters are sooner than later, then
It is kind of unfortunate the way admissions for any school works. If you have a smaller letter you pretty much know you didn’t get in.
wait what really?? where are you even getting this from?
@swaggy333 I am not 100% that this goes for IMSA too, but for every college if you are rejected they have less to say whereas if you are accepted they would give you all of the registration info and other papers.
no i meant what @yeldarb1 said, sorry
@swaggy333 i have a sibling that goes to IMSA who was talking to one of the admissions people, that’s what she was told so that’s what i’m going off of - but who knows!
i have a sibling that goes to IMSA too! lol what if they know each other or something
that would be so funny! ugh, now that they’ve said 1-2 weeks i can’t stop thinking about it…i just really want to know the decision!
hey, i’m new to this thread. i applied for the IMSA class of 2018 and really hope that i get in. i live in a bad neighborhood in chicago, and really hope that i can get out of here.
also, we should make a Facebook page so it’d be easier for us to communicate and maybe we can get some is students on there too.
hi @cannolisz , i hope you get in!
how are your sat scores and essays and stuff?
I also applied for the 2018 IMSA Class. I didn’t do very well on the SAT. I got 800 on math and only 670 on critical reading. I got 700 on writing (I don’t think that counts though), and straight A’s(4.0) gpa. I am on the Math team, Quiz Bowl team, Science Olympiad and I am on the Tennis Team. What are my chances?
@sawesome17 Haha I didn’t do very well on the SAT…
@theeedog how well did you do
are u applying this year or did you already apply
lol 800 is good but 670 is not
@theeedog Your SATs are above and beyond what is usually accepted so I wouldn’t worry about it, my scores are on this thread towards the beginning. Also, I applied this year.
cant find it? Were they above mine? Also, does gender and race matter, cuz I am a male indian from a wealthy suburb, and this might count against me
