Anybody who applied for FA has problems with submitting tax forms in time for announcements of Aid? Many universities have RD announcements lined up for late March or early April. Some university financial aid offices insisting that 2014 documents have to be submitted before the Aid is announced. But in India the 2014 tax returns are filed only after 1 Apr and many companies/organizations give the Form-16 only in May, till then one can’t file the returns. That means the aid will never be announced before the May 1st deadline to accept the offer. Offers can’t be accepted without Aid information.
Does anybody encountered this problem this year or earlier? How that has been handled? The universities in question are not accepting 2013-14 tax returns. Any Clue?
