<p>If you take advanced placament classes or international Baccalureate classes ( college level classes) and get an A you get a 5.0 ( b = 4 and so on) </p>
<p>If you take plain regular classes you get a 4.0 for your A ( and so on) </p>
<p>Weighted Gpa is your cumlative on the 5.0 scale and plays a role in class rank whereas weighted is on a 4.0 scale. So if you have a 4.3 weighted its actually 4.3/4. </p>
