adides told me abt certian schools which not only provide free education but also provide some form of jobs to poor kids after school which are not dangerous and probably have some skills involved hence are taught skills as well [ is it adi? ]
this is a small step in the solution to india’s child labour problem however adides said that these schools have hardly received any media attn hence most ppl are oblivious to it… most of us and many ppl across india shake heads at the situation and hope someone will do something…there is a solution takin place and i belive more ppl will react if they are aware of it… for media attn, perhaps studnets can highlight this is schools newspapers, write to editors of popular daily newspapers, talk to teachers/principals… it is also agree that a famous face will be a catalyst to the process, i dunno how plausible it is, but maybe u guys know someone powerful [ more of a celeb rather than a politician ] who you are close to or ur frenz are close to [someone is bound to be aishwarya’s/shar rukh’s/govinda’s neighbour/cousin/friend ] well if u have the chance to seriously talk to them and get their help in gettin media’s attn to those school who have already started doing something to for the problem…it will be the first step… :)

ok, i am pretty much unaware of realities in the cities in india hence some of my views may not be applicable but my $.02
