hi… im kinda new to college confidential n came across this thread… i was hoping to get some help for this essay i have to write… its title is " Describe a significant experience that changed your life perspective"… im kinda confused as to how to start… help!!!

first brain storm some ideas…list them, think about your achievements, difficulties you overcome and people who influenced you immensely, and then the ideas will flow naturally.

Anyways Neha told me, some people might be coming to Singapore, so I was thinking maybe we can organize a little get together for the indian thread.

Hey all! I’m an Indian from Qatar (the Middle East), currently deciding between Michigan State U and U of Western Ontario for Business. But, I’m more inclined towards Western, so I guess I might go there. Any opinions on both these unis?

hello new posters

may our tribe spread

my solution to india’s child labour problem-

become a god damned crorepati billionaire industrialist and employ only children in my factories.
i will not pay them wages, but will use that money to provide food and hire teachers for night school. i am sure i could work out a cost effective model.

hey flame, yea that would be the best solution!!!
but i have contacted the editor of times of india via email ( i dont know if that is sufficient) asking him to highlight the problem of child labour along with some of the viable solutions.
Lets see what comes out of it!

and anyways let me know what you think of that document i sent you

i’ll go thru it right now adides…

haha i write to the freaking times of india everyday… they don’t do ****
i think im boyotted at the ToI office and mid-day… many letters hve been published of mine in both papers… but it doesnt help… and i think he child labour problem is already highlighted enough… who wants to think about children when THEY R BANNING DANCE BARS!!!OMG

Yea talk about misplaced prorities!
But so you think they dont give a damn!
And yea its highlighted but i dont think people realise that there is a solution to it!,once they realise that they will actually work for it!

If WATER is AIR, AIR is OXYGEN, OXYGEN is EDIBLE, EDIBLE is OIL, OIL is WATER. Then, what will fishes swim in?

 1. Water
 2. Air
 3. Oxygen
 4. Edible
 5. Oil

2) Air.

ToI is just a rag, they are never going to print any issue which doesn’t induce salivation from its readers. But I think that The Hindu is one of the few respectable newspapers left in India. Atleast it prints news Too bad we get it a day late.

i need the answer to this.

there is a disc rotating about a fixed axle through its centre and perpendicular to the plane. It has a groove cut into it from the centre, radially outward. The angular velocity of the disc is maintained by a motor. If a small particle is placed in the groove, it is expected to accelerate outward. What real force is the cause of this acceleration?

Centrifugal force isn’t real??
Re-phrase the Q if you can…
