<p>In my school, even the brightest students got 60-70 in most subjects… I even averaged in the 60s during pre-boards. For most students, board results were a happy, happy time.</p>
<p>economics was really a disaster…expected much more. But overall results are ok. I’m happy too :)</p>

But yes,maybe because my teacher knew I was good in english…he was correcting with that mentality…so I might’ve done better.
But,61 is not what I would consider my level of understanding of the English language.</p>
<p>And yes techincally…the toppers in school exams always get 70’s…in my school atleast…so I don’t consider grade inflation an issue in my school.</p>
<p>there was a 10-12% increase in marks in the boards for most kids from my school…pity it didn’t happen for me :p</p>
