Kelley has long wanted to match the University admittance with the Kelley one. I expect them to try to do the same having promised a decision by Jan 15 (even if that may be waitlist Kelley). IU the central campus is not beholden to Kelley desires and may do what they wish and admit earlier - but I doubt it. What IU does with all the other decisions I have no idea other than they will want to be careful not to create confusion.
Any email will be auto-generated on a holiday best wishes and will have nothing to do with admittance. Not receiving will only be filter or error on the email IU has.

When your child found out last year on 12/12, did they announce on social media that they were sending out a decision, or did your child receive an email that their portal was updated? Thanks!
Last year there were a lot of releases the week of Dec 11 on many different days, so IU did not announce anything on social media that I recall. My D25 received an email in the morning telling her there was an update in her portal and to check it. I was really hoping decisions would start coming out today, but I havenāt seen any.

Last year in-state and OOS heard on the same days. There didnāt seem to be any rhyme or reason on how they released decisions.

Just FYI, I saw a screenshot someone posted on a FB site that was a chat with admissions and they said no decisions would be released in December. So Iām working under the assumption itās no earlier than early Jan. Weāve waited this long! We got this!

This is what the person posted yesterday when people were speculating on release dates on that thread. It could always be misinformationā¦never know!
i dont believe it. itās just not promising anything before their final deadline.
As much as I want to know the decision, I like it better when a school releases all decisions on one day. Last year my D25 heard back on the early side in December, but she wasnāt in the first couple of days, so by the third day we were getting worried. If she had had to wait until January like some did, she wouldāve been a nervous wreck. I see that on the PSU page where so many kids got accepted in November, but so many are still waiting.
