How many students typically get SSA. How much money can I expect out of SSA? When will we find out the full scholarship amount?

There are different scholarship as part of SSA. Again varies from 1k to instate fees.

Will more Hutton scholarships be available through the SSA? And if so, will it be the same as the auto HHC scholarship

Was really hoping for Deans with 4.2 and 1380 ā¦ but I donāt think that is enough in Kelley.
Will definitely do the GSA and then SSA if invited.

Got a letter today with Deanās scholarship of 8k (Kelley direct admit) but no mention of Hutton (was surprised about that). Does that mean no HHC or is there still a chance? Is all GSC & SSA need based (if so we wonāt qualify)?Thanks, congrats to everyone and positive vibes to those still waiting!

I am a bit surprised as well - the Deanās scholarship is IU based and has nothing to do with Kelley.

So our application status is still showing as āapplicationā, which changed from āapplicantā late last week. Iām not sure if we got a definitive answer, but does anyone know what this means? Is it good news or bad news?
same here: APPLICATIONā¦ DS24 is OOS and TOā¦so weāll have to petition for Kelley DA.
(sorry for all the acronyms, I know what they are nowā¦had to look them upā¦)
DS: DD: dear son/dear daughterā¦ OOS:out of state; TO: test optional ; DA : direct admit.
Anyone have intel on the non-Kelley business path for the first year or two and then qualifying to join once on campus like some other schools utilize?

Good Morning! My daughter called admissions because she was concerned that they needed something additional. They indicated that this did happen to a few students and we werenāt their first call. They actually pulled her application up for her. They noted that her application is still in the āreviewā process and to continue to check the portal because her decision would appear their first, followed by an email, and then US mail letter for scholarship information. Nothing more to read into, nothing less. What this did solidify is that they are still reviewing applications and they roll them out on a daily basis. She is my fourth through this process and what is important to continue to remind our children is to continue to enjoy senior year and that these schools receive thousands upon thousands of applications and if we want them to do a thorough review (which we do) it is necessary to spend the time and some students may not hear until January 15ā¦which today seems like an eternity, but, in the grand scheme of life is not. They truly all end up where they belong!

Does IU send applicant the āyour status has changedā email OR just drops in the decision and itās on you to āfindā it on one of the million times a day you ping the site?

MG9ā¦, to answer your Kelley question. If your student is admitted as pre-business they can follow the same Kelley required classes as a freshman. Maintain a B/B+ at the lowest in EACH required class. Classes are not easy. Then apply to Kelley in spring of freshman year. Then wait until 3rd week of June to hear if accepted or not to Kelley.
My son is a sophomore at IU, and we watched his roommate go through it first hand. It was stressful to say the least!

They email two days after the portal changes, so itās worth it to check each afternoon.

She indicated the portal would change first, then an email would follow, and US Mail after that email.

Thanks for the info! Any idea why the change in the first place to āapplicationā? Do you think that means it is under review whereas before it might have been in the review queue?
