Indiana University Bloomington Early Action for Fall 2025 Admission

My son’s portal has continuously shown that his transcript is missing. His school counselor said he sent it through Scoir by the Oct 15 deadline and there’s not much more that can be done. I find this unacceptable. Is the another course of action my son or his counselor should be taking? FWIW my son said that others in his school have had similar issues.

The 5 or so kids that applied from my son’s school had the same issue. The school counselor resent them on December 5 (even though Scoir said they were sent in mid-October). The portal was finally updated on December 7 to say received. My son sent an email and called (after not receiving a response for 5 school days). The person he talked to said it would not impact his consideration for EA.

Has anyone received notifications on weekends?

Ours says the same thing in IU computing and all of her school friends heard and she hasn’t. Was wondering if that was an issue.

mine says the same thing also. Whenever I’ve called about being worried about my IU computing saying I have no application in progress they say to not worry about it and just refer to the portal.
but i still haven’t gotten a decision yet like the other people around me… and i should be a DA Kelly

just speculating, but maybe because of this issue we are delayed with decisions?? I have no idea but i’m trying not to worry

Same here as well…OOS. Also in the One.IU computing account, do you guys see any AP courses being credited under Academics->Transfer Credit->Test Credits?

Same situation here. OOS 4.0 UW GPA, 31 ACT, 10 APs and still waiting on decision. Frustrating knowing others have heard back already. Kelley her 1st choice (after a couple big reach schools…)

And on the One.IU credit question, we don’t see anything either and she will have AP credit. I believe that may not get populated until they accept and their status turns to “ENROLLED” with the university.

Same here. She should be auto admit and it is a top choice- no applications showing in the computing portal and when I clicked on her scores in that portal it only has her english SAT not her Math score listed. So it seems like they might be in the middle of processing things for her still. Ugh!!!

Also, I based on my older ones, I don’t think schools usually give AP credit until the official College Board scores are sent, enroll, meet with an advisor, etc. so I wouldn’t worry about no APs showing.

same here, OOS still waiting have DA Kelley stats and had the transcript delay issue as well. Are we supposed to create the computing account now? I thought it was for after acceptance.

OOS from GA. Son meets the kelley DA criteria and has applied EA by Oct 12th. Not heard anything and portal showing awaiting decision. Anyone from GA got the news?

Same. Dont think hes created a computing account. Thought that was for after the admit.

i thought so as well

My son has DA stats for kelley and hasnt heard yet. Hes worried that he didnt sent the official test scores but did mention to review application with self reported scores when he applied in coomon app EA . The understanding he had is to send official scores if admitted. Hope he’s ok?

There is a link to set up the computing account in the applicant portal, so they can set it up before being accepted.

IU has a form for students to use to self-report their scores, but they also say that they pull them from the application, so it’s a bit confusing. There is more info here: Freshman Applicants: How to Apply: Office of Admissions: Indiana University Bloomington (in “When you apply” and “After you apply”).

Thanks. Seems self reported scores are fine

My understanding is that you are able to self report test scores through the common app and that you do not need to fill out the self report form, unless you are updating your score. Hope that’s accurate.

He should be ok. My son did the same. We called the IU admissions office last week just to double check, they confirmed they got his self-reported scores from the common app. Said not to worry and just be patient. He got DA to Kelly later in the week.
