My son got admitted to IU but still has to audition for Jacob’s in February. We heard back in December.

My son is still waiting. The portal did not change this morning, it still says, “Awaiting decision.” I hope today is the day! I try to remind myself what it was like when I applied to IU 30 years ago, anxiously waiting for the paper letter in the mail

If it’s in the IU computing portal, don’t worry about it. My DD’s said that and she was accepted yesterday.

Are you looking at the One.IU portal? My kid’s also says “No applications” and I think everyone else’s has as well. Apparently the admissions portal and One.IU don’t talk to each other yet. My kid is watching the admissions portal only.

Thats right. One.IU only got updated after receiving the Admit Decision in the Admission Portal. Until then, it was showing “No Applications”.

Same! OOS, applied to Kelley in early October with high stats (4.0 UW & 1500+ SAT) and still nothing. I did call IU on Monday and was told that notification was by lottery so I guess we are in the last notification batch today. It would be nice if at least IU indicated the time of the notification so we can check the portal then. IU communication and its admission portal has been disappointing!

FWIW it would be surprising if they did release early AM, 1-2pm-ish Eastern is a reasonable bet to a time range to check. If they are not going to release they will email you and tell you they are delayed which does happen occasionally and is not ideal. They will not - not answer at all.

My daughter’s portal was updated about 10:20 central time. Email came about an hour later.

My daughter’s portal updated with admission yesterday around 12:30pm eastern time. She still has not gotten an email (checked spam etc). So check your portals!

My child’s portal updated this morning to Kelley from pre-business. Still not officially accepted, but clearly there is movement happening.
