Intel ISEF rule explanation?

Projects that are demonstrations, ‘library’ research or informational projects, ‘explanation’ models or kit building are not appropriate for the Intel ISEF

What exactly does this rule mean? That we aren’t allowed to have any models or demonstrations? How about electronic videos and such? Can someone please explain this…

Basically, they want you to test a hypothesis. If the models/videos help you explain your project, you would want them,

@student10189 The models/demonstrations shouldn’t be the main point of your project. For example, don’t purchase a drone or rocket kit, build it and/or launch it, and submit it for ISEF.

Ohh, that makes a lot more sense. Okay, thanks!!
