<p>Can you do the Toefl test without having the papers in the US ( i am in the process so i still don’t have any paper. I would like to do the test, and not waiting until i have the papers. </p>

<p>Yes, you can take it without papers.</p>

<p>You’ll need a valid government-issued ID document to gain access to the test center (e.g. a passport or driver’s license). If you don’t have one, you’ll need to contact the ETS Office of Testing Integrity before you register for the test.</p>

Then you can use that. If in doubt like their posters say, call ETS.

<p>If you don’t have a government-issued ID, you should have two forms of identification. That could be a school ID and a passport, but a driver’s license, would be okay, etc. You do not need to have official papers (green card, I assume).
