International Students: Is it really for diversity or is it for the money?

Wrong guess, I am pretty sure. :)

It is very difficult to get H1 visa without advanced degrees. Sure, it has been done. I just happen to know a case that a Harvard grad, excellent GPA, with a good job offer, got turned down for H1 by INS and ended up going to grad school.

The H1 requirement on paper is BS degree or better… Turned down by INS could be for a number of reasons, more likely than not the annual quota for H1’s has run out for the year, concerns over visa fraud, and so on?

This article makes me sick. Now high schools are getting in on the game. Charging Chinese students double tuition, while claiming to bring them in for the sake of cultural exchange!??! Puhleeze!
