International transfer student (India)

I’m 2nd year undergraduate student at one of the reputed university in India . I want to apply as an International transfer student for 2017 fall semester . And I need financial aid(If possible).

My stats:-

  1. college gpa (3 semesters) - 9.55 (out of 10)

  2. credits earned (not transfer credits) - 66

  3. major (interested in) - electrical and computer engineering.

  4. toefl ibt - 90

  5. EC :- social (rural) internship , core member of our university team making a prototype electric vehicle for eco shell marathon ( I’m the only junior selected ), helped professor to setup a new experiment in the curriculum, member of robotics club at my uni , member of ieee student chapter.

  6. universities applying to :- Arizona state university(ASU), ut dallas , university of Minnesota twin cities, brigham young university(BYU), texas tech , Ohio State University(OSU) , San Jose State University(SJSU) , california state university LA , Georgia tech University.

–> can you guys please give me an idea of what are my chances to get into this universities as an international transfer student. Also if anyone transferred from india to US universities then please let me know.

Also if possible please show me percentage chances…

You have several public universities listed that you plan to apply to and you need financial aid. The California public universities do not fund non-residents. So, SJSU and CSLA will run you ~$40K per year. I don’t know about the other state universities, but I am assuming they are similar in costs.

International transfers have limited odds in being accepted.

Byu = are you LDS?
No financial aid in California

Odds of admission are good elsewhere, he’s bet for aid is probably UMinnesota.

Thanks…

And what about Arizona state university(ASU), ut dallas and Georgia tech ??

You have a shot at ASU Barrett (honors), apply now (Barrett if you haven’t already); UTD yes, GeorgiaTech probably no.

Thanks @MYOS1634

I have to apply for barrett separately from ASU application, right ???

yes
