internship blues...

<p>Hey everyone…
so today was the first day of an internship at a political office…and idk how i feel about it. I know many of u will say give it chance, its only ur first day…and i absolutely agree with that point, but something just doesnt feel right. </p>

<p>Don’t get me wrong i love politics…its still my PASSION so to speak, but i think because this was my first job ever, im sort of having mixed feelings about the working enviornment itself. I mean i sincerely want to to “impress” them…i want to make sure they know they chose the right person (even if i am a high school student)…but i dunno…i feel almost wierd when im with them…</p>

<p>can anyone relate… ? i dunno what kind of post this is,…but all i know is i worked my butt off trying to find an internship like this and i really do want to make the most of it!</p>

<p>thanks hpa! thats encouraging :)…but for now i wish i could go to the beach with my friends instead of there! oh well…hopefully it will pay off one day!</p>

<p>It’s alright that you feel weird around them, lol. Afterall, you’re a kid with different interests/ideas than them (besides politics, of course). And, this is your first job so there is a lot of things that you are just beginning to get to know. </p>

<p>Don’t worry. Sooner or later that uncomfortable feeling you have will disappear once you sink deeper into your work. :)</p>
