Hey guys,

How hard is it for international students to get internships? Paid or non-paid? I know F-1 students have to apply for CPT after they get an offer…but how difficult is it to get an offer? Specifically in the business field?

I’d imagine it wouldnt be too hard if you went through your university’s career center. Total guess, btw.

Well there is a number of factors which come into play when talking about internships. First how good is your business school. Second what kind of internship you are looking for, for example is it a internship at Goldman Sachs IB division or local company. In any case most of the new employment laws are in effect for H-1B visas for the companies who has been granted bailout money. Simple answer it is pretty easy as long as you are in good school and network properly.
