Are there off-campus interviews for William and Mary? I could not find any information regarding this on the website. I would love to meet with an alumni in my area, as I am doing for one school already this week.

I guess this is a stupid question, but it seems many colleges do this: Since everyone is Applying to the college of Arts & Sciences (as will I), does Willaim & Mary have some sort of School of General Studies in which if you don’t get accepted into CAS, there is a backup where you can get your credits?

I don’t think there are currently off campus interviews for W&M since they aren’t that important. I would suggest contacting the admissions office, or a local alumni chapter for a definite answer though.

There’s no backup school… you either get into W&M or you don’t. Once you get in, essentially all courses are open to you, though some might require applications (upper level business, and maybe education).

Thanks Soccerguy…William & Mary is my hardest school, my ulitmate reach, and especially since I’m from Texas and not in VA.

Yes, DCI- Drum Corps International…I’m a fan…but not a huge one…I did marching band in high school- band is my life (lol) so much so that this upcoming semester when all my college applications will be sent already (thank God) I will be doing Jazz ensemble, saxophone state quartet, saxophone state solo, and our school musical, Cabaret by Kander & Ebb.

Thanks soccerguy again…what are you studying at William & Mary? Were you from VA?

I wish you good luck on your application process dcifan! I play sax as well. I hope that if you come to W&M, you will keep playing (including in pep band!). I’m currently in the process of trying to make the Crossmen baritone line (and play Sax in the Wind Symphony).

I’m studying International Relations, and yes, I’m from the ever popular “Northern Virginia” (1/3 of the school is from there).
