INTO Pathway Programs - USA

Hello, my name is Miguel, I’m from Mexico and want to study in the USA.
I’m registering for the INTO Patwhay program, does anyone know about it? So, there are some options of Universities and Programs to choose, and I’m in doubt which to chose. I’d like to know what’s the better option, as I don’t live in the US, I don’t know much about the american universities. Could you help me?

There are the INTO Universities:

INTO University of South Florida, INTO Drew University, INTO George Mason University, INTO Marshall University, INTO Colorado State University and INTO Oregon State University.

INTO Website: <a href=“INTO Study - Study Abroad at Universities in the UK, US and Australia”>http://www.intohigher.com/us/en-us/home.aspx

Thanks very much!

I’d go with University of South Florida orDrew, then George Mason or Oregon State.
Drew is close to New York City and offers a great undergraduate education, University of South Florida is in a great location, and George Mason is more commuter but not as much as it used to and not too far from DC. Oregon State U is not bad but is quite commuter, the State is cool and interesting overall.

Will you need financial aid to attend the university after the INTO program? If so, email the office of admissions to ask about whether INTO students are eligible for financial aid once they complete their program and what the conditions are or what the odds are. If money is a concern, you may want to choose the cheapest choice.

Thanks fo the advice.
I’ll pick USF then. I really like the idea of studying in New York, but the cost is a “little” expensive for my budget. And USF is more affordable. And yes, I’m eligible to some merit based scolarships that will help me to fund my education after the INTO Program.

Thanks again! :)

I’ve also applied to an INTO course, when I found out that USF wanted to reject me.
Let me tell you something: As an international student you are one of the most-wanted students, because you have to pay high tuition. So even if you are not eligible for direct admission at USF, they might admit you. Of course their is no guarantee, but what happened to me was that I have applied to USF directly, first (Cost of Attendance ca. 33,000$). I applied via an agent here in Germany and he told me that they want to reject me for that semester, because my GPA was below 3.0. So I’ve applied to the INTO Program (Cost of Attendance ca. 39,200$). INTO accepted me of course and offered a 5,000$ scholarship, but I rejected them because it was still to expensive. USF then rejected me for the Fall 2014 Semester, which I have applied to, but at the same time accepted me for the Spring 2015 Semester, which I didn’t apply to. They said that due to their comeptitive application pool for Fall 2014, their office has moved my application and evaluated me for the Spring 2015 term.
I did not accept that offer yet, because I could also study in Scotland for free, but that is what happened. They want you, so there is no reason to spend more money on uni.
But what is important: You would still have to pay the 33,000$ to USF, they won’t give you a scholarship, if you’re not eligible for it.
