Is 4 AP Classes too much for Junior year

Specifically, I am taking AP Physics 1, AP Stats, AP Psychology, and AP Lang. Although it’s not an ap class, i’m taking Precalc HN, which i heard can be as hard as an AP Class. Would this be doable with an after school sport.

As long as you work hard and don’t procrastinate too much you should be fine.

It depends on several factors. How have you done so far in AP courses? Are you strong in math? AP Physics at our high school has a lot of math, and most students have already taken Trig/Pre-calc, although that is not a pre-req at our school. If you are strong in math, you will probably be ok.

Also think about how much time you have to dedicate with playing a sport. If you have a study hall that will help. If not you may need 2-4 hours a night. Teachers can play a big part as well. Ask around. Lastly, think about what type of colleges you are interested in. The most competitive colleges like to see a very rigorous schedule, but there are hundreds of good schools in the US. A strong GPA with fewer AP’s is fine. You could focus AP’s on your area of interest and do fewer. It all depends on you. Don’t forget there will be studying for ACT/SAT tests as well. Good luck!
