Is 5'10'' an okay height for a sophomore

You are taller than me. I’m 5ft 9 and i am a junior. Remember, the tall guys get all the hotties!

I’m 5’6, but I’m a girl so that’s okay.

intoxicatednight – That’s a great height :D

yes, not too tall, not too short.

Well, it’s my height, so clearly…

5’10" is fine…

I’m a little less than 5"4’, but I’m a girl…I like my guys to be around 6 inches taller than me though

I’m a guy and have been 5’10" since I was a freshman in high school. Up to the current year (junior year), I haven’t grown one bit for some reason. So close to 6’, yet still so far. :(

I am 5’6" and a junior and i hate it.

I’m 5’10/11’’ and I was talking to my mom about how I wish I was taller and she said this little gem: “Well, honey, you’re pretty tall for a Colombian,” which I didn’t really realize was true until I came to U of I and join the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. I was one of the taller ones in the group haha. So I think I’m normal as far as height goes. I still want that extra inch or so though. I hate how my dad is taller than me (I’m adopted) because most guys grow taller than their dads. Even the short ones.

There are two things that attract chicks- height and eye color. I am pretty decent in both categories. lol

I’m only 5’5, but I don’t care too much. There should be other things than height when giving an impression. I never really understood height, like whether it’s genetics, nutrition, physical activity, a mix of all, etc. But I am actually taller than both of my parents, which makes it a sad case lol. But I’m not that concerned.

6’3’’ Junior (Chinese too so its really weird). I dont think any of the heights posted on this thread are “unacceptable” or “not-ok”. Everybody’s different and I thought a 5’10’’ sophmore was normal? What’s normal?

LOL, but seriously, I kno plenty of sophmores + upper classmen that are under 5 feet…

:)------------------------------------<

i’m a girl… i’m 5’3… i weigh 100lb, and i’m chinese

are you sure you dont mean under 6 feet?

I only know 3 high school students below 5 feet.

No… I meant 5… but I guess i exaggerated on the “plenty” part. There are a few.

:)

I think she does.

i’m a girl… i’m 5’3… i weigh 100lb, and i’m chinese

Sounds like you are a hottie! LOL

It depends on how much you are still growing. If you’ve grown like 2 or 3 inches in the last year, you have plenty more growing to do. If you’ve grown 1 inch or less, you’re probably almost done. I was 6’0" as a freshman, 6’1" as a sophomore, and now I’m still about 6’1" as a senior. I only grew 1 inch the first year of high school, so I knew I was done.
