Is a 1930 good enough on the SAT? Whats a good score

I’m wondering how much I need to raise my score or if a 1930 would suffice.

Depends on the section-by-section breakout of your SAT I scores. Also, are you a Virginia resident or an out-of-state applicant?

oops ya i meant to say in-state in the title

Generally speaking the target is 2100 or 700 per section.

Well, the average (mean) total score for last year’s (maybe this year’s?) freshman was a 1990 - so it isn’t bad. I am in the same boat as you, and not too worried - I am taking the SAT again in December though.

If you are in state that should be good enough provided you also have a high gpa
