Is a 3.7 GPA and a 1700 SAT score / 1300 (CR + Math) Score good enough for Columbia?

Planing to to take SAT II for math I and II and Biology

That is no where near what Columbia expects

Not by a long shot.

You are far below the average. Set your sights on some other Universities where you will have a chance.

Yes, if you also are a football star

Uhh, lemme get this straight. You got a 1300 CR+Math and a 400 on your writing? Work on that writing bro, then look at Columbia

If you are a football star or underrepresented minority or some other population of which they need more…

Work on CR and writing. I’m guessing you got 800M, 500 CR, and 400 W?

Anyway it’s not enough to even make the first cut for Columbia, AND you’d need to have some national/international-level awards.

3.7 is a little low…shoot for at least a 3.8 UW for Columbia
your SAT is far too low. You really should be scoring at least 2100’s to even get considered by a school at the caliber of Columbia.

yeah I am from Syria and my parents are immigrants and Arabic was my first language…

You can play up Arabic by indicating you’d double major in … and Arabic?
Apply to Bryn Mawr and Barnard BTW.
Are you scheduled for the ACT this Saturday (Sunday)?

No I actually am not, but I might take it in the fall because I need time to prepare.

NO. Gpa is too low…
