Anybody slacking? Pas moi! I’m so proud… ;)

i didnt have straight A’s to begin with! haha but i’ve defintitely been slacking since april.

Like LOLZbabe, I didn’t have straight A’s either! I had four B’s and three A’s when I was accepted. After that, yeahhh, there was some major “well it doesn’t really matter much anymore” slacking, but I luckily caught up to it and managed to pull out with all A’s and only one B.

I am proud to say that I have kept straight A’s!!!Woohoo!

My teacher told me I was “not putting any effort into school.” and she was “extremely disappointed in my lack of initiative.” back in April. I’m pretty sure I came out with a 96 in her class… :p

I’m biting my nails on this one for my son.

SSRS

…while I’m trying to get my son to stop biting his nails.

As and Bs…erghh

only 96% and above (:
but its only because i have no life, like, AT ALL!

I didn’t get accepted but I still have the same grades, 6 As and 1 B …

My son has done better now that the pressure is off-he can focus on learning and not the grades. Much more enjoyable and maintaining As or higher.

As or higher ?

I’ve actually done wayyy better now. I went from As and Bs to potentially straight As for the first time =D

I was straight A’s when I was accepted…I’m moderately proud to say that I’ve maintained good grades, but they have DEFINITELY dropped since April.
100 to a 98 in a core subject, got 90’s in music and art elective. I’ve dropped an average of 5 points in classes that don’t really matter anymore…like PE, Health, art (studio, music, etc.), and my foreign language.
In addition, once I found out I wasn’t valedictorian, why try? ;)

my mom flipped the you know what when she found out that some of my grades would be a B + instead of an A…:(

I kept straight A’s and some of my classes even went up from A-'s.
However, my friends told me I could stop trying because I got into Exeter then I saw the form about rescinding admission if grades drop too much…like that was ever going to happen. ;)

swissbrit, A+…although most teachers won’t give A+s some do for averages above 98 etc.

Urbanflop, can they really do that??

also what schools did you guys get into? I’m thinking about applying next year ( so I’d be repeating freshman or going into sophmore.) I really wanna get into PA or exeter at best but I’m lacking E.C.s and I’m not sporty. Also my eighth grade year was 4 As 3 B’s and 1 E.C. haha not good. I’m hoping by some odd incident they’ll accept me when im in E.C. sports or alot of clubs and getting straight A’s.

Yes, they can do that. If you don’t submit your grades by the deadline on the sheet or if your grades drop too much. For example, if they drop from a B+ or A to maybe a D, but not if it drops from an A to a B-. What they are looking for when they want to rescind you is a drastic change that shows you have stopped trying completely.

yup my grades are still good
