For my grade 12 year i am thinking of taking AP Lit, AP Calc, AP French AP Research and i don’t want to take all sciences at the same time, so which two should i take? I don’t have any preference but I’m good at physics but i want to go in health sciences…
Did you mean AP Physics 1 instead of AP Biology 1?
It all depends on the difficulty of the course at your school. AP Chemistry is harder in that it covers a large range and focuses a lot on lab-based questions and calculations. AP Physics 1 is harder in that it is more conceptual and requires you to fully understand physics for you to do well.
If you are good at physics, it wouldn’t hurt to go for it. If I were you, I would take AP Bio and AP Physics, but that’s just me (I really like Chemistry, but it may be a bit of work; also, you want to go into health sciences). Choose the science classes that you are most interested in, and the easiness of the class will take care of itself. Good luck!
All of the AP sciences (bio, chem, or physics) are necessary for a health/medical career. See how much time/effort you want to devote to an AP science (remember, it’'ll be your senior year and senioritis might hit). In terns of difficulty, AP Chem and AP Physics 2 are about equal in difficulty (AP Chem is a bit harder IMO if you haven’t taken chem before) while AP Bio is the easiest (lots of memorization).
