Is AP Statistics on FLVS difficult?

<p>I have recently applied for AP Statistics on FLVS. I was wondering the difficulty level of the course itself on FLVS. I know that the AP Exam will be fairly difficult but I am pretty good at studying for AP Exams. If anyone has taken it, please say the difficulty and the approximate time to finish a segment (semester). I plan to begin the course sometime in the summer.</p>

<p>No it was really easy for me! I got a 98% for the first segment and a 97% second segment if that says anything. I thought the AP exam was pretty easy too. I am a math person though.
It doesn’t take that long to finish it. I finished segment one in 2 months and segment two in four months (segment two was during the school year though). But the pace I did it in was faster than normal.</p>

<p>Just to put in my two cents, even though I am a little late, I loved AP Stats on FLVS. Best course I have taken on there AP so far.</p>

<p>Hey, ibworldstudent, were the Segment Exams for AP Statistics difficult? They seem to be intimidating because of the point total. Also, could you resubmit them if you poorly? Thanks, and sorry for super late response.</p>

<p>I’m taking the class right now. You can resubmit everything up to 3 times.</p>

<p>It really depends on your teacher.</p>

<p>@Adderall Can you explain how the DBAs are like in general? Do you have to call them, and they ask you certain questions based on the material?</p>

<p>Yeah that’s exactly what they do. Depending on if your teacher is a hardass or not it can be as short as 5 minutes or as long as 30 minutes per module. I think you can schedule DBAs on the site somehow (I’m not sure) or you can just call them and leave a message.</p>

<p>I think this is my final question. Are segment exams timed/difficult? I just recently had my DBA for Mod 1 which was easy, and so was the test. Thanks.</p>

<p>Not sure if my post will help at all but I’m currently enrolled in AP Stats with FLVS and the segment exams are super easy! I am loving ap stats with flvs :)</p>

<p>What kind of math background you have. I have done Algebra 2 and am decent in math. I am going to be a freshman this year and I am wondering if I should take AP Stats or AP Human geography at FLVS.</p>
