Is Columbia Stingy with FA for Internationals?

<p>Well the title says it all. I just read in another forum here on this website that only a few international students in need of finanacial aid were accepted to Columbia… Can anyone confirm with details??</p>

<p>see ronty as per my list of colleges i am still in th emaking.over which to include and which not. i hav been doin the reasearching for over 2 months now and the lists will be ready within 2 weeks… </p>

<p>Some of my stats and a tentative list i once prepared is on the cc forum. However things are drastically diff than that.
My stats will be posted on the forum only in Oct end when i get the sat scores ( i have horrible sat results in june : total 2000/2400)… till then i will only say

  1. I hav loads of EC, intra school, intra city , intra state , intra country …
  2. Got amts of national state and olympiad awards…(olympiad one is only state qualifier, nationals are gud)… EC</p>

<p>Am into scouting( core national level participation also), in journalism ( deeply) Comp sc. ( NAt. ) etc…</p>

<p>But details later…
I believe till i get gud scores nothing helps…

<p>gud one . though i personally feel such stuff is less helpfull. More will be found by personal reasearch and contacting present students and adcomms… and seeing the univpolicy for scholarships etc…</p>

<p>how are all other non need-blind unis? does that mean i shouldnt bother to apply?</p>
