Well where I’m from they do…why are you getting so defensive? We just so happen to be from different areas. I’m not saying its a good or bad thing. Its just how MOST black people are. You either accept it or you don’t.

And if they are not all like that, then why aren’t you attratced to them? I am even though I think some are ghetto. Do tell.

salone4u – you haven’t met or seen MOST black people.

neither has anyone in the world seen MOST of any kind of people. They see the propaganda in the media.

^ Thank you. A person with sense.

Y’all need to calm down. I seen most of the people that I’m surrounded by and go to school with. Aside from the media and IMO I feel as though that’s how most of them that I am surrounded by are and I bet I’m not the only one who feels this way. They admit it themselves. I don’t know why y’all think attacking my views is gonna change anything.

You need to specify that. Most of the black people YOU know are ghetto, not MOST black people.

Um dude I did. Several times actually. I kept saying like at my school, we live in different places, and where I’m from.

Maybe you should change your environment for college. Are you Black/AA salone4u? if you are, it’s a good idea to surround yourself with POSITIVE black students/people. WE DO EXIST, IN LARGE NUMBERS. My goodness, show some love and respect for your race. You can’t change what your race is.

are any girls besides indian girls willing to date indian guys?

@CPU

My best friends are intelligent and haardworking African American students such as myself. I’m not bragging, but it is true. Our parents are immigrants so we work hard for them. I can relate so much to them. For college I’m planning on going to Johns Hopkins, which is a totally different enviornment.

Dude I love my race. I work hard to make Africa proud. Like I said being ghetto is an ACT.

rd2012 – I’m in the minority crowd in not having a racial preference. Whoever I date has (I use has somewhat loosely) to be on the same “level” as me. For example, I have a job. I’d REALLY like my partner to have one (I’m saying that now as a teen. My husband/fiancee/whatever when I’m older MUST have one.) but if they don’t, it’s not a make-or-break. I care about academics, my partner has to, too. I’m involved in activities, and yadda yadda you know what’s next. Of course comes the personality, maturity, and lastly looks. I have different “types” ergo I don’t have a “type” at all. For example, I don’t think that “blue eyed blonde haired” guys are attractive, because every guy with these charactersistics looks/acts/is different. Same to be true with height, and other physical characteristics.

salone4u-- african and african american aren’t the same. and yes your friends are, but you need more than 10 or so to be surrounded by. I’m not attacking you, just being straightforward. take my opinion with a gran of salt.

My friends and I classify as African American and Blacks as Black American. Sorry needed to clarlify. Its a thing we do.

salone4u – didn’t know you processed information concretely.

salone- I do the same thing. I think its necessary to differential us Africans from Black Americans, not because we dont want to be associated with them, but because the Black American culture and the African culture are so different. It’s as if we’re two different races with the same skin color sometimes

It stems from whenmy friends and I were younger because we were “kicked out” of the black race by people at school. So my friends decided to differentiate so people don’t get confused or offended. Cuz I can’t say I’m Black or just African. I was born in America lol.
