Is getting involved with the stock market a good idea in college or high school.

<p>Is it? I've already gathered up some partners i can work with to invest on stocks. I'm pretty confident with my knowledge, and i have about 5 partners right now, each contributing 200$ ($1200 total).</p>

<p>i think it's a good idea to invest when young because you have less to loose.</p>

<p>if all your partners and you know what you guys are doing, go for it. its only $200. not much of a loss compared to what you can make.</p>

<p>i've spent more than that for random useless stuff.</p>

<p>Sure, but be prepared to lose it all, it's hard to trade with just 1200, you won't end up making much money.</p>

<p>trading with so little might be cost-prohibitive-it will cost a lot more money to make strange trades (312 stocks) than a round number (500)</p>
