Is going to school from 6:55 to 2:02 depressing?

Oh, dang. You guys have it worse. /:

There’s just a huge difference in my perception of time in leaving at 12:22 versus leaving at 2:02 even though it’s only 100 minutes. 12:22 feels like the day is just starting, while 2:02 feels like it’s already on the downside.

There’s only 57 minutes of class from 1:05 to 2:02, the other 43 minutes is lunch period and I get to leave campus, but it’s not enough to get home and eat.

That’s not bad at all my first class starts at 7 and my bus ride is about 20 min. long. My last class ends at 2:30 and my activities end at 5:30 unless there is a game, competition, or late nights then I won’t leave until around 8 or 9 for late nights and 12 AM- 2 AM for games.

I’m going at 7:15 and coming back at 3:30 . EXHAUSTING :(

Wow you guys are dedicated! I start at 7:50 and end at 3:07 on weekdays. After that during the winter I’ll have basketball practice until about 7 or I’ll get home around 10-11 at night from games. Spring isn’t so bad, once I get done with school I’ll practice tennis until around 5 (thankfully our tennis coach isn’t as hardcore as our basketball coach). Matches can set me back to about 7. After finishing my homework, I’m usually in bed by 9:30-10:00 practice nights or 10:30-11:00 after basketball games. It’s not difficult in my opinion.

It’s not difficult for you :).

It’s not that bad, I go from 6:55 to 3:04 and have an open 6th, which makes my life a lot easier despite not ending at 12:22 either. You can always try to do that (if the crazy counselors will let you) plus it gives you more time to go off campus or do HW. AcDec is always really good to have on college application and Mr. DelRio is supposedly an incredible teacher from what I’ve heard.

By the way, take a guess which school I go to? lol

Seven hours is not long at all. In some Asian countries, schools are 8+ hours, then a majority of the students (90% +) take extra classes after school, that last a good 3 hours into the night. So next time you go to school, think about them and smile :)

^^
Woah, who are you? What a strange coincidence.

Ikr, well if you see a redhead guy tommorow morning, don’t be afraid to approach him!

Those hours are actually pretty normal for school.

Leave for school by walking at 6:45.
Get there around 7:20.
Classes start 7:30.

Classes out at 2:00. But on Wed-Fri, I stay for clubs till 3:00, longer if it involves in-school volunteering (such as doing recycling or tutoring.)
Coincidentally, symphony, SAT prep, and the city’s youth commission meet exactly at 4:00 those same days till 6:00.

Throw in 6 APs, two Running Start college courses, homework, family, and the lack of a car- yeah. No wonder I can’t do sports or get a girlfriend.

Unless you’re a workaholic like me that threw away socializing, do whatever you feel capable of. If your schedule is clogged with APs, you have a girlfriend, or if the club(s) aren’t your passion, then try something less costly. If it is your passion, or something that in the end might make a big return, well, its your choice if you want to jump for it.
