Good luck to everyone! Results will be out tomorrow! There was an email sent out. It will be pretty competitive this year!
its full virtual unless you get accepted to go to Harvard, so only select applicants will be allowed to enter.
I mean, the program is called Harvard OpenBio, its conducted in a biology laboratory. They may accept you, but I’m pretty sure its for people interested in life sciences.
They recently adjusted it to full virtual.
“To better accommodate all participants, we are no longer offering in-person programming at the end of the summer for the top ten SRI participants. Rather, SRI will culminate in a fully virtual research symposium for all admitted students, and prizes will be awarded to the top ten students for exceptional research projects or literature reviews.”

Yep. I might have made a mistake but the page does say physical sciences. Results are coming out tommorrow.
Has anybody’s reference gotten a confirmation email? My one has not received it, maybe there supposed to verify the info after?
Mine hasn’t mentioned anything to me but she’s pretty experienced with recs so maybe she felt she didn’t have to

I assumed it would be in the morning since my previous emails with OpenBio were all in the morning
