Is it annoying when someone apologizes all the time?

And why is it annoying?

YES! It’s annoying (to me) because I find it superfluous. If a person makes a rather noticeable mistake, apologize once and move on. If it’s a tiny error, just pretend it didn’t happen and move on. Imagine what the Super Bowl (random example) would look like if every player apologized profusely for every single mistake they make. They’re professional, but mistakes happen.

Story of my effing life. It is the most annoying thing in the world when someone apologizes all the time. Why? Because usually the thing they apologize for is meaningless, like a boss thanking his employees for showing up to work every morning. Not only that, but usually they don’t just say it once for the same thing; they repeatedly apologize for it, even if you’ve said that it is fine.

Apologizing is fine. Repeatedly apologizing is utterly annoying. Imagine that someone just told you about their weekend. Wouldn’t you get annoyed if they told it to you again, over and over, each week?

EXTREMELY!! Because most of the time it is not there fault and you kinda feel sorry for them but then you think “Why the **** to do I care?! They do this all the time” and it just annoys u

it makes me feel like the person is weak

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I do it all the time, so no. I can’t help it, it just comes out. But it’s usually not meaningless or tiny, but if I make a mistake and it affects someone else, I’ll apologize profusely. It’s ~instinctive.

It depends, but a lot of times that gets annoying since everyone else just wants to move on.

IT’S ANNOYING like a bird of prey

SO annoying!! i keep telling them that its fine but they keep apologizing. they should drop it after a while or else they are being clingy.

^lolwut?

But yes, it sucks major dick.
