Took almost all Aps and honors courses
calc. phys. geo. etc.
ecs: 2 yrs varsity track, 2 yrs baseball and football non-varsity
summer job jr. year</p>
<p>Looking at what people have said about OOS candidates makes me believe that virginia might be a big reach. As my ECs are lacking. What do these ppl expect from a HS student! So, should I even apply?</p>
<p>My D applied this year and was put on the waitlist. She had an ACT of 33. Subtest were all 31 or above. APs from junior year were reported. AP Chem was a 5 and US History was a 5. School too small for class rank and her GPA was well over 4.0. I believe that the only thing lacking was EC’s and being out of state. She also went to three different high schools due to family moves. Who knows?? It seems like there really isn’t a set reason for the decisions. So if it’s your dream choice or somewhere close to it, why not apply??

<p>to apply to the comm/business school u hav to be in the second year in college…but as a HS senior u can apply to UVa college…i thnk its a high match/low reach given OOS but i still say that u shud definitely apply…there is a 50-50 chance and its possible…goodluck!</p>
