Is it necessary to keep "tooting your own horn"?

Does the student need to send in updated info about awards or designations once the application has been submitted? Things like NM Finalist or being one of 4 groups selected to compete in NASA DIME competition…

if you’re defferred or out of state (or heaven forbid both), i’d say yes. If you didn’t get in the first time, and you didn’t improve at all, theres almost no chance of getting in on the 2nd look. if ur instate, and have great stats, you probably wont need it.

OOS, great stats, RD…

send it then.

I don’t see how sending in updated information about your activities/achievements/etc. can be a negative affect on your admissions decision at UVA, especially if you’re out of state.
