Is it okay to take an English elective and no history class senior year?

Hello, I am a rising junior who is planning their schedule for senior year.

In 9th grade I took: Spanish 2 (counts as honors), Honors Geometry, Civics, Economics, Health, PE, Art Foundations, English 9, and Biology. My school did not believe in Freshman Honors classes or AP.

In the summer I took Psychology.

10th I took- Honors American Literature, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Chemistry, Spanish 3 (counts as honors), US History, Anatomy & Physiology, Engineering 1, and Michigan History.

I just finished Health & Medicine and will be starting Sociology this week.

Junior year I am signed up for- AP World History, AP Biology, Honors World Literature, Honors Physics, Precalc, Spanish 4 (counts as honors), Genocide, and Astrophysics.

I will probably do a summer class or two.

I kind of regret not taking APUSH and AP Biology sophomore year like I got recommended for, but there is nothing I can do about that now.

I am a bit concerned for Senior year. I have run out of social studies electives. Also, I could do AP Lit senior year, but I hear it is extremely hard. To be honest with you, I don’t feel like I will be strong enough at literary analysis by then. If I could take AP English Language that year I would, but my school restricts that class to Junior year.

So for senior year I am thinking- AP Calc AB (only 18-20 people make it to BC)
AP Spanish 5 (Language)
AP Physics 1 (This could change to APES if Honors Physics goes like Honors Chemistry)
Video Production/Advanced Video Production (Counts as senior year English and I know quite a bit about it).
Here is where it changes
If I don’t do AP Lit then I would probably take AP Stats
AP Macro/Micro (this could solve my history issue, though I could not do this if I took AP Lit since that class will be a lot of work).
and Science Capstone or a Post-AP Biology independent study (if they let me).

If I did take AP Lit- AP Calc AB, AP Spanish 5, AP Lit, AP Physics 1 (or APES), Science Capstone, Earth Science, Video Production/Advanced Video Production.

I’d like to be a researcher (possibly in Genetics). I want to go to a smaller school like Eastern Michigan University.

For being a researcher in genetics, i would consider AP Bio or AP Chem.

Also, does your HS require 4 years of social studies? I would AP Macro/Micro as these are fairly easy to do well on the AP tests and get credit for college.

Why take earth science?

If you want to do research, then a science capstone might be a good way to see if you really like research.
