Is it okay to wear tank tops in college?

yes it’s ok

^^ haha, this.

Guys can wear frat tanks, and that’s about it before it gets to be weird. I think muscle shirts are super dumb. And I like v-necks on guys (although I second the “not too low-cut” comment).

i actually hate v-necks on guys. i think there’s a thread for that, though…: P

BYU has a dress code. It’s a Mormon university, so they’re an exception.

Morehouse has one too. There, you can’t wear your pajamas to class, sag your pants, or cross-dress.

I’m a guy and I wear both tanks and v necks. Pretty much any v-neck and and mostly band tanks. I play sports, but I have a skinny nonmuscular build. I only deem those who are muscular and wear tank tops as ******bags cause theyre showing off. Its all good for me though. Ha

Apparently, tank tops are srsbsnss.

As a girl, I can’t say that I care or even take much notic e if a guy is in a tank top. Provided he isn’t wearing a bright pink neon fish net half-shirt with pierced nipples and blowing a kazoo while he simultaneously fist pumps and head bangs to some Justin Beiber song–then I really don’t care.

^ I’d love to see that actually.

Basically if you’re skinny a tank top is a no. If you’re muscular then yes. People will call you a meat head or whatever but they’re just jealous.

I’m not really into tank tops on guys. They look kind of tool-ish (I know its not a word but you get my drift) and are used mostly to show off muscles and what not. I think they should only be worn under regular shirts but that’s just my opinion…
