<p>Well I’m about to finish up my freshman year in HS.And i was cerious if you guys thought it’s too late for me to get into these schools due to freshman grades.</p>

<p>Note: School only has 5 peroids a day.</p>

<p>I’m a African-American from a public school in MA.</p>

<p>my freshman classes were as followed: CP ENVIORNMENTAL SCIENCE
CP ALGEBRA I,CP ENGLISH,CP WORLD HISTORY,and gym and an elective. I’v gotten all A’s or A-s this year, expect for maybe 2 3 Bs through out the year.Do you think my dreams at these schools r over? I want to get into USC,YALE,PRINCTON,and UCLA.
Might i add i know my classes werent that rigorous, so i was wondering could my next years schedule make up for it: i’m taking Advanced English 10,Advanced Geometry,Advanced World History,Advanced Spanish I,CP BIO(highest level), and i’m taking two extra classes online (Pre-AP economics, and Pre-AP World History).</p>

<p>Do you think this can make-up for my less then rigorous schedule, and few Bs?</p>

<p>No, it’s not too late–it’s only freshman year and your freshman grades give you a great chance for an upward trend so be sure to work hard the next couple of years.
Your classes for next year look good but make sure you don’t overload just for the sake of making up for freshman year. It might be harder to pull the grades you really want if you have more work than you can handle.</p>
