Is it true or blown out of proportion?

[Is Cal Poly ignoring endowments? | Cal Coast News](Is Cal Poly ignoring endowments?)

I just found this story which basically portrays Cal Poly SLO officials as being like Al Capone doing financial sketchy things. Also, it says that six departamental chairs from the college of engineering have stepped down. How truthful is this? I thought Cal Poly SLO’s strongest academic area was engineering? Would that affect Environmental Design’s reputation as well?

wow. that sucks…

Well, that just made my day. Did you read the Comments after the piece? Cal Poly could not do better than hire a guy who had been canned @ NCSU and then keep him on as faculty bail in droves? This, at one of the best Engineering schools in the country. Unbelievable. I hope Cal Coast News stays on this story.
